I just took delivery last week of my brand new B7610 with LA302FEL and 60" MMM. I am completely happy with the choice I made and love the tractor so far!

I removed the mower to do some tilling this past weekend and re-attached the mower with little problem. I wanted to remove the FEL last night for easier mowing, but had a little trouble. I followed the directions in the manual, but when I got to the point of "moving the bucket to rollback position" as the manual instructs, nothing happened. The bucket remained in the side braces. The pins are both removed, but I can't get the loader to lift out of the frame like it says it should.

Going to give it another try tonight. Thought about maybe putting some blocks under the loader stands before rolling back the bucket to get some lift.....

Hopefully my dilemma is understandable..sorry I don't know all the names of the tractor parts real well yet! Am I missing something on the FEL removal that I should be doing?

I have had this a few times when taking my loaders off. Just make sure it is on a nice flat surface preferably concrete because its a pain to get lined back up if its not. Also if its not flat it seems to put it in kind of a bind and it won't come out smoothly. I wouldn't put anything under the legs to add leverage as this would also make your bucket higher off of the ground and when it does come out I think it would cause your loader arms to really fly out of the mounts. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
What I have had to do when my loader seems "stuck" is I tilt the bucket back maybe an inch or so off the ground and then step on the bucket lip and it usually comes right out. Then all you have to do is tilt the bucket back the rest of the way and it will lift out by itself. Hope this helps some. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

On my B2910 with LA402 you have to have the bucket dumped forward to about a 20 or 25 degree angle before lowering the FEL with the stands down and rolling back - did you do that ?

Be sure to reread the instructions and make sure you are doing it right - it is possible to dump the loader crossbrace onto your hood - there are pictures here on TBN - makes an ugly dent.

I don't think the loader on my old B7500 ever came off according to the instructions /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. I just kept slowly moving the joystick until one of the positions lifted it off the pins. You'll see what combination wants to lift it. It also helped to have it on a piece of plywood to it wouldn't dig in to the ground where I wanted to store it.

I ended up doing the same thing (moving the loader around until I found the right combination) last night and was able to get the loader to lift off of the braces. I think that I was not dumping the loader enough before removing the pins. So I dumped it a little more and then when I got to the point of rolling the bucket back it made it easier to lift the loader off the braces.

Thanks for the responses! This site has been a great resource both before and after my purchase of my B7610. I'm sure it will continue to be a great source of info.

There are some very detailed responses in the archives - basically step-by-step approaches. Check them out. A level surface sure helps, as does a rag to wipe the modest amount of hydraulic fluid (no big deal, unless you have a new and spotless garage floor).

I had trouble with my FEL on my B7800 too. Seems it was stuck to the paint on the fixed pins. Moved the joystick a few times and then it popped off.
