1st Tractor: JD 2210 vs Kubota B7500?

LB, that would have been very helpful when the poster asked the question in February 2004, but I think he got his answer and has since made a decision when he bought his new Kubota B7610 in March 2004.

You know, that's not the first time I've seen him answer a question that was asked years ago. Seriously, what's up with answering a question that was asked, and solved, 2 and a half years ago??!

It could still be helpfil to anyone confusing a compact with a sub compact today tomorrow or in the future.
My post did not just apply to the OP but was for others now and in the future.

okay...I'm embarrassed. Was cruising new threads and posted a response to this one without even noticing the original post dates! Since someone had just made a post and this appeared on the "new since last visit list" I figured that this was something new. OOOPS.

I've started to suggest several times that posts should automatically lock after X amount of time without activiity. Then I can think of a couple of reasons that someone may need to post on an old thread - with an actual contribution vs. "I agree." Maybe it could still happen, but maybe just a request has to be made to a moderator or something (like they don't have enough to do ) to re-open a post if someone really needs to post a response to a closed thread.

Well, hey, yeah. Funny thing this should be your experience, too! Only, well, the tractor won't be here for another week plus. But what difference does that make - at least the decision was made (and that's the important thing for her!).
