i would go with the 7500, skip the mmm and get a small LT to cut grass around the house, price will be pretty close .

Wow! It supprises me that a lot of you guys would like to use a small lawn/garden tractor to do the mowing when you can use your CUTs and for me at least enjoy it 10 times more than I did with my old garden tractor! I just can describe it... The "feeling" is just totally different /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree hyp. That is why I bought the sub-cut. I wanted one tractor to do it all. I know I could of had a 4xxx series for about the same money without the MMM and still used my JD335 to cut grass.
But, the main reason I started even looking was I spent too much time cutting grass. A ZTR would have been quicker, but wanted to do other stuff, mostly stuff I never knew I wanted too do until I got the tractor.
Thanks to everyone here on TBN I got the FEL. That was the best thing I have ever bought!! Maybe if I would have bought one a long time ago I wouldn't of had to have back surgery in December!

Dan,

Beware of the power of TBN!

I was surfing the internet looking for a good weed wacker when I happened by this website called TractorByNet, aka TBN.

Now I got a CK20HST TLB.

Never did get that weed wacker. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Eeek! I've opened Pandora's box! I have more questions now than answers! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am going to check out Massey Ferguson & MTO / Cub Cadet - there's a dealer about 6 miles up the road (closest of all makes)!

I've been thinking about the CUT + Lawn Tractor vs CUT with MMM - I think I want to have just the CUT "do it all" - don't want the maintenance / parts / storage of another piece of equipment. But it is certainly something I will keep in mind if nothing else is workable.

I am going to create a "priorities" list - a quick draft looks like this:

1) Ergonomics / Manueuverability (wife needs to like it too)
2) Features
3) Price
4) Dealer location / size
etc.

Ok - I've got some more homework to do!

Thanks folks!

Good call.
In my opinion that is the main reason for buying a CUT in the first place.

DanR67,

Its not a big deal but that spec sheet you posted has many spec errors, specifically the 2210 & 4110...HP, Weight, Loader lift, attachments (back Hoe is avail for 4110) just to name a few items...

Ducati -

Ok - I've rechecked my spec sheets - honestly don't know where I got some of those values?!? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif My bad! I have rechecked all data and have attached an updated comparison sheet.

I did re-check both the 2210 and 4110 brochures as well as web sites - nothing shows a (factory) backhoe available - here is the website for the 4110 - no BH is listed. Perhaps I have an older flyer - but why wouldn't the web site be accurate?

Just for clarification: the overall length of the Kubotas are estimated - the JDs gave length both with & without 3PH - so I added 12" to all - forgive my "artistic license" /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

****************************

All that being said - my wife and I *test drove* a B7500 at the dealers this afternoon. Wow! Steering is *effortless*! The turning radius also seems amazingly tight. I think it's noticably quieter than my old riding mower too.

We both like the way the folks at the dealership dealt with us so far - and its very convenient (@ 8 minutes) from where I work. Momentum has shifted towards the B7500 - even with a higher price - we'll have the brunt of our *heavy* work completed while it's under warranty.

I showed my wife the picture that GregJ attached - with a huge load of wood on the 3PH - got to think that's impressed her on some level too.

Finally - I mentioned last night to a good friend who works in construction that I was looking to buy a tractor - he simply smiled and said "Kubota - they'll never die."

I'm sure that everyone will argue the same for their CUT - and likely everyone's also right - but I feel comfortable with the B7500 capabilities, price and dealership - so.....

I'll keep everyone posted - and thank you again for the feedback - TBN rocks! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think that both green and orange are very high quality machines. I would weigh dealer convienance and quality of service heavily in my decision. I have on many occasions spent a little more money because of the customer dealer relationship. I have a 7500 and love it by the way!!!!
