How much does a rack like that cost for your truck.

I got a full, contractor style, rack for my truck about two months ago. Approx $500, and it installs in minutes. I use it a lot more than the trailer hitch, although a truck should have both.

Hauling 16 footers is not a problem in a full size bed. Doing it legally will depend on your local laws. In Missouri you can legally haul any length that is physically possible. If the load extends futher that 4' past the rear of the truck you have to have a red flag on the end.

I always red flag it i try not to give the cops any reason to give me a ticket. The price on that rack is not too bad. ill let you know how the project goes. friday i am renting a stump grinder, and sat we are putting in the fence.

I went to order the boards today and i asked about free delivery. They had it if you spent over 300, which i did. They also had a post hole digger there for rent which they are going to drop off with the boards. I like it when you dont have to go driving all over the county just to get what you need. This weekend is supposed to be rain, it figures.
later all

Had the boards delivered friday with the phd. The modified or 5rc came later on in the day. Friday i was able to dig 12 holes, and on sat i was able to dig 17 and put all the posts in. The phd was a beaver one person type. it worked great in soild with no rocks, but being in pa i hit a rock every 2''. most of the digging i did was with my digging bar. needless to say im exhausted. I hope to put the wire fence in tonight and the rails. depends on the rain though.
thanks for all the help and answers.

Here in Tehama County the inspector made me separate my 200 amp conduit and the 1-1/4" dia water line from the well to the house by 12 inches. No problem since the power and water ran in widely separated trenches (24" deep for the power, 18" deep for the water) until the last 15' near the foundation where they ran in a single trench a little over a foot wide.

Thanks, for that info. I will have my lines about 2 feet in the ground and about 5-10' apart.
Did you have to do anything special to run them in the same trench?
