200 cx question

   / 200 cx question #11
Latest on my end is the dealer has received the parts listed in the Solution Bulletin. They're delivering them to me to attempt the install with my sales guy on the weekend. If we don't figure it out, i'll need to drop the FEL with them for a couple of days. (highly inconvient).

All parts (and possibly the labour..dunno yet) are covered under the FEL's warranty. It's odd how different dealers of the same company respond differently to the same Solution bulletin.

My dealer wants to fix it under warranty but when they called it in for approval the warranty zone manager denied the request for pre-approval.

Sounds like the Warranty Zone Manager needs a slap :p

Seeing how I bought 3 new JD Tractors in the last 12 months I would have to agree.

I'm coming into this late, but I had this mod done last summer, early, and the difference was dramatic. My dealer, JD Equipment, picked up the tractor, did the repair, and brought the tractor back, (round trip is about 25 miles) and didn't charge me a penny. I had about 100 hours on my 2305 at that time. Maybe I'm lucky to have an exceptional dealer, but doesn't sound very 'Deere-like' to me to try to duck the issue.

Is this something that should be done on all 200CX loaders like on my 2520 or only if its on a 2305...:) I dont have any problems dumping. but back bladeing it could hold its position a little better...;)

Chris, I noticed the FEL latency on my loader as well as the back blading limpness when I was digging my pond last week. It doesn't happen as often with the new 2520 compared to the 2305, but it's definitely still an issue.

I'm encouraged by Glens comments that the difference is dramatic

Maybe we'll install it tomorrow and I'll report back.

I am still confused.... if the regen function ( joystick all the way to the right ) is the fast dump feture. why on my loader. if i push joystick all the way to the right it dumps slower. it dumps faster if i just move it to the right a little...... so whats up with that.
Kenny where are you. i need answers.....:)

Ok , I should be beat with a stick.. I was wrong....:(
I went out tonight and payed close attention to it. and Yes ,if i push the joystick to the far right really quick. there is a small hesitation. then it dumps really fast...;)

So i guess it is the fast dump feture....:)

if regan is putting fluid to both sides of the cylender. how does it dump faster?
