Never had an issue with either holding its back blading position or fast dump (that i could notice). Sounds interesting and I will pay close attention next time on on it, to see if I can pick up on anything -

My dealer, JD Equipment, picked up the tractor, did the repair, and brought the tractor back, (round trip is about 25 miles) and didn't charge me a penny. I had about 100 hours on my 2305 at that time. Maybe I'm lucky to have an exceptional dealer, but doesn't sound very 'Deere-like' to me to try to duck the issue.

GordNovo said:Hi Glen, did you get the fixed orifice solution or the needle valve? Could you possibly post a picture of your installation of this kit? Here's a picture of what my sales guy brought over for me today. He couldn't stay to install, so I guess I"m on my own
If I understand the Solution description correctly, I need to install this at the "bucket rod end circuit". Basically, I'll be restricting the flow of fluid out of the cylinder, which currently undergoes cavitation when dumping heavy loads.
Anyone have any thoughts/comments.
Do I need special tools. Looks to me like a crescent wrench is really all I need.

Chris2520 said:if regan is putting fluid to both sides of the cylender. how does it dump faster?![]()
YASH2520 said:Regen takes the return oil from the rod end of cylinder when extending the cylinder to dump and instead of sending this to back to tank/drain it adds this back to the cylinder on the can end. This increases the total oil being sent to extend the cylinder causing the increase in dump speed.
That's Ok Glen, I'll get in touch with my dealer's service guys here. If it's not difficult to do, I'll take care of it.. if I need special tools, I'll need them to do it for me.Glen said:Gord,
If you like, I'll contact the dealer and find out what it was, and how they fixed it.
