Thinking of buying one with 700 hrs. You guys still happy? any suggestions or warnings. It has a power reverser tranny

I've got that exact tractor with over 2000 hours and couldn't be happier with it. No problems to speak of.

What do you think it should be worth w/680hrs It seems to be immaculate. the loader has been on it for about 200hrs

I just got a trade-in value for mine of $14,400. I am looking to trade for one of the new 58hp compacts is the only reason I am looking into selling it.

What kind of tranny are you going to get ?
Are you going to get a loader and bucket ?

I'll get the power reverser and yes I will get the new loader and heavy duty bucket. I'll keep my backhoe as it will fit on the new one. Still have to see what the final price will be before I make the final decision.

Have you got any specs on the new unit yet beyond gross hp? (i.e. displacement, weight, major dimensions, hydraulic numbers)

So far my dealer is striking out finding me a 4710 in PA or any of the surrounding states with a reverser. Seems all the dealer stock sitting around unsold is hydro - the reversers out there were ordered in for specific customers and seem spoken for.

I might have to go to a 4720 (or 4520 if the other post that had that as the most compariable to today's 4710 had it right) but so far actual facts and figures seem hard to come by.

My dealer has sent me a brochure with all the specs. I will post it when I get home this evening. I tried to scan it this weekend to post but the file was too big. I am still seeing if I can get that reduced. There is a cool picture on the cover showing the front and side profile of a 4720.
