Tractor
Bobcat CT225, John Deere X540
I started a new thread for this. It's one of the first decent deals (from my inexperienced perspective) I've seen.
It's a 2001 KIOTI DK35 with loader

Detailed Description
2001 Kioti DK35 4WD tractor with 685 hours, NEW Front Tires, & 1 rear hyd valve

Fuel: Diesel, Weight: 3,872

$7,500. (Be $8,000 delivered up near Hnnibal Mo)

Anyone in or near Omaha willing to check it out?

Certainly more power than the CT 225 (Bobcat) I'm looking at.
Any opinions appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff

The price seems low.
Is it in rough shape or have something wrong with it ?

It looks fine. They can't find anything wrong with it.
Low hours. No loader, and 8x8 paddle shifter.
They put new tires on it. (Front)
I thought it was a good price.

OK, no loader is why.
On your first post it said DK 35 with loader.

My DK 35 is a 2001 model.
Very nice tractor. I really like it.
It has been strong and reliable.
I run a 6' tiller, 6' boxblade, 6' brush mower, 7' backblade, 7' finish mower with no problem.

My mistake on the loader. Thanks.
685 hours isn't that much, right?
They think it's the original clutch. Working fine now.
It's in Omaha, was traded in at a Kubota dealer.

685 hours is low hours.
I have 1830 hours on mine, still working like new.
My clutch hasn't needed its first adjustment yet.

Thanks Vince,
I've got the sales guy at the dealer shooting me a quote for the DK35, with a loader installed, and delivered to Missouri.
I'm thinking the extra size of the DK35 will be better for me than a Bobcat CT225.
It ought to save me $5,000 up front also.
Of course I'm looking at a 2001 w 685 hrs, vs a brand new 2012 Bobcat.
If I can pull a disc with the DK35, vs a tiller with the Bobcat, that should help also.
The DK had direct vs hydrostatic drive on the Bobcat..
I'm still going to try and find someone in Omaha to look at the tractor.
Thanks

Don't mean to hijack this thread but since it's a no go for the original poster.................I just looked at a 2005 DK35 with loader and Sims cab......697 hours.....on dealers lot......asking 13,500 ( Canadian funds ) No mechanic by any stretch of the imagination , but will be taking my neighbor ( operating tractors his whole life ) with me for a closer look. Anything specific to look for. I've been looking at tractors for a long time and almost bought a JD 2 weeks ago but it had no loader. Sooooo this looks to be the best deal I've seen and am anxious to move on it. Thanks
