Mike, you made me smile ear to ear today.

I went to your home page, and checked out your bike(very nice by the way!).

Right there, smack dab at the top of your list of things you have done, is added chrome to it. No, not one piece, but two/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Then, farther down, barely four years old, it had all the seals redone because..... because what? It leaked oil/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

And to think, you made comments about folks chroming up Harley's and dealing with oil leaks. For shame, for shame /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

FWIW, it is a related post, because he made me grin, we both have tractors(his has a COOL hoe on it), and they're diesels like the Liberty diesel. And, I was born in a Jeep, a '42 Willy's MB /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Smile, want till you see what goes up at certain times. BAM...he he he

Yup, they where done because I wanted them anodize and did not like it. So I want the nickel chrome route (for about $12)…Far to much money since I could have gold plate them cheaper. Then again they would had look nice, NOT. A lot cheaper them most HD parts, hundreds of percents cheaper for a chrome piece.

#2 Yes, I had the seals replaced since it started since the guy at the shop (moron) messsed up an oil cooler lines and a pan plug. And I wondered did he mess up the covers when he did the valves etc. Did not trust him and made me re-think what else he messed up. In retro spect I should have left it alone since I did not need to do it, but that is me. I did not want to get 6 months down the road and they will play the “it did not do it for us them” deal.

So to close I had the seals do because I am a freak who likes stuff perfect. But then after that, the valve job and the initial price of the unit. I am still way below (thousands) what any HD cost (at leas the nice ones). J

Oh, the hoe has not been used in month…Still sitting there on the dolly, waiting.

/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I also get a kick out of the irony....... Anyhow, I also noiticed you use the driwash stuff. Obviously you like it, I wonder though, do you notice any scratching from it?

Irony...reason was due to #2 as I stated. Not going into it but I am still ahead of the game on the HD price vs what I spent.

But...do you see any scratches???

no washing with water on the bike since 1993. I used to details cars but no have not enough time.

see any here?

Robert, did you check out the Joker Heli mpegs? Someone there is very talented. Completely off-the-wall flying! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Cool stuff, Mike!

Yup, not me there...

The heli sounds cool for being an electric...A lot of "jingle" flying right there. More then mine. I think it was shot in TX.

Gotta love electrons...
