2006 Foton 404 won't start.

I have a 2006 Foton 404 and it won't start. I've replaced the battery, the dash lights come on, headlights come on. But when I turn the key nothing happens, started doesn't engage, I don't hear a clicking or anything. Could the possibily the solenoid/starter the problem? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check the clutch saftey switch, if thats OK,make sure the tractor is in neutral, take a screwdriver and cross the big wire and the small wire on the solenoid, if it starts it could be the starter relay, key switch, soleniod.

I had the same problem on my 604 and found out it was a wiring harness gang connector losing a connection in the starting circuit. I broke the connectors apart, cleaned them, reassembled and all's well. I don't think the connectors were fully engaged when new. The snaps weren't locked. PJ
