2008 F250 4x4 Diesel or V10?

Saw a picture of some snow once. Really pretty stuff. Might order me a jar for the frig.

I have needed 4WD maybe 4 times in the last 10 years. My wife and I quit going places that if you get stuck you'd have a 7 day walk out so I quit buying 4WD. Its a personal choice. The older I get the less gadgets interest me--I just want to get the job done with the least expense and keep my money.

I am like the other poster--when its wet, I just go reload some ammo or do maintenance on my equipment and stay out of those getting stuck places. But it does not get wet that often in my world--4WD I can see would be a lot more important to you fellas in the wet climes. Seems like a lot of folks want to argue a fella into 4WD, but its just a matter of either whether you need it or just want it and want to pay for it. If you are a first timer with a truck, you might be safe to get the 4WD and then down the road, you'll know if you needed it or not. If you need it once and that once cost you 6 grand and you are happy with the cost, then its worth it to you. For me, if my life's not on the line for the that once, I'll keep my change.
