jokergerm, couple of questions... First did you finally sign the papers for the tractor Next, are you planning to talk to your dealer more about this (find the actual part number, see what it would cost for some else to have the same thing done? and can any mechanic do the same thing he did? Why didn't he just "adjust" the old one to be within 0.0005 of an inch) Sorry, this issue has been around since 2004/5 with lots of ideas and money thrown at trying to correct it.

PS. I was worried that kubota would have made you sign a gag-order about this, glad to see that didn't happen. {insert icon of guy looking over his shoulders}

I am going to find out more when I goto pick it up later this week when the.backhoe comes in

Thanks for doing a bit of legwork for the rest of us. Armed with knowledge of what happened with yours, there's a chance some of us may be able to get ours fixed as well.

It wouldn't surprise me if you have to bring it in to your dealer before they will fix it. One of those "we are not going to issue a recall but if you have a problem with it we'll replace/ upgrade it" thing.

What I heard, you bought an "economy" tractor... this is the valve you get... If you are thinking about buying one of the economy L, I would ONLY buy it if the Valves are upgraded. I would plan to walk away, if they aren't.
