What's the big deal with the NEW 6.2L horsepower/torque figures: my '07 Tundra produces 381HP at 5,500RPM(same) and 401lb/ft of torque at (3,500RPM)[1,000RPM less],from a 5.7L, half ton, plus has a 4:30 final drive ratio to get things moving. Hardly earth shattering figures from Ford, if you ask me![]()

I don't know how Ford has such high payload and towing numbers, comparing to Ram, the Ram has a slightly higher rated rear axle but the Ford has 1500 more pounds of payload and 6000 more towing?
3rd diesel in 7 years, maybe this one will be the charm, but it looks awfully complex to me. With the way the economy is, it's gonna be a tough sell. Not just Ford, but all the big 3's high end line.
