I am glad to see they did not compromise anything and are able to still be at the head of the pack.

looks impressive to say the least. i will give a serious look in a few years to an F-250 with that 6.2 gas engine in it. that new transmission Ford is coming out with looks to be pretty nice too.

Skip the F-250 and get a F-350 SRW. I have one of each and $600 difference the F-350 is much more truck.

What's the big deal with the NEW 6.2L horsepower/torque figures: my '07 Tundra produces 381HP at 5,500RPM(same) and 401lb/ft of torque at (3,500RPM)[1,000RPM less],from a 5.7L, half ton, plus has a 4:30 final drive ratio to get things moving. Hardly earth shattering figures from Ford, if you ask me ;)

What I see left out is the economy version. 225 or 250hp diesel, 30+mpg in a 2wd...

I agree. The 5.7 Hemi still has better numbers than the new Ford + it has the MDS feature that really bolsters mileage.

Man that engine is a complicated looking beast.

First Look: Ford's All-New 6.7-Liter V-8 Power Stroke Diesel Engine - PickupTrucks.com News

Two separate/independent cooling systems with 2 water pumps and 2 radiators.

I don't know how Ford has such high payload and towing numbers, comparing to Ram, the Ram has a slightly higher rated rear axle but the Ford has 1500 more pounds of payload and 6000 more towing?

3rd diesel in 7 years, maybe this one will be the charm, but it looks awfully complex to me. With the way the economy is, it's gonna be a tough sell. Not just Ford, but all the big 3's high end line.

The diesel option is supposed to be the same price as in the '10's, $6500
