Hi All, it is reassuring that u folk in the northern hemisphere have the same anxious moments that we have at baling season - have to rush to cut b4 the heat spoils the pasture, then leave it lay for 5 to 7 days depending on sun and wind, then worry about it blowing around b4 baling.... just finished this season which we did in 2 parts - 1st session got a bit wet, lay for 2 weeks - average hay, second lot was perfect. 190 4ft6in X 5ft round bales from 28 acres. Best was 112 off 10 acres, sadly our biggest paddock only yielded 78 off 18 acres...but there's always next year CheersOzG
