2014 Polaris Ranger 570 Lost All Electric Power

There is a safety switch one the brake, won't turn over if the brake is not depressed (at least in mine) but you would still have lights. Sounds like the ignition switch to me, but I'm just guessing.

Tried the brake before I left on my work trip. didn't take the switch off but worked it and checked the connection - but agreed, I should have headlights. I'm willing to bet it's the circuit breaker before the fuse panel....

Long story short, I was able to get all power and the engine started. Rev'ed the engine a bunch and it actually stalled out (Since I don't run it enough and not high enough RPM's, I need to swap the plug) - but when it stalled out, I was back to the same issue.

Multimeter on the circuit breaker and it checked out fine. still dead. disconnected (fully) the battery, reconnected, all power back. I believe this "circuit breaker" is not resetting and is starting to fault out. Polaris part number 2411086 About $21. 15 Amp circuit breaker. I've seen where guys have used automotive ones, but haven't listed what they bought. So why can't I just cut that one out and put an inline fuse? Easier to keep a box of spade fuses in the glove box.

More testing tomorrow. I'm going to try and be able to repeat my results.

You can do the inline fuse, just make sure you size it the same as the breaker. Carry Spares

I found some circuit breakers that are supposed to reset. $3/each. Better than $20 from Polaris. I'll see what it does. If it continues to flake out, I'll get a fuse in there
