Kenacp, we were in exactly the same position as you, and actually bought a 2015 JD3032e new in 2015.
We have been very pleased with it. Never a single problem.
Your monthly expense might actually go DOWN if you buy brand new. Why? Because a set of tires, a fluid change, and a little thing here or there might cost you more than just buying new. Especially with the zero down, zero interest financing.
To put a finer point on it, we love the 8n in our profile. But when John Deere offered up a monthly payment of $ 398 we just had to jump on it. I figured we were spending that much money in starter fluid and tire patches each month for the older iron!
Add to that the scarcity of used machines, and you might save money buying new.
