As I said Good Luck to you're team.
Everyone had the same chance to be #1. Close games or not. They still won them. I don't know of any teams that have blown out their opponent every game.
The facts are they had enough to pull out the win.
I'm Quite sure those teams that have lost by just a field goal would have loved have won by that same field goal that caused them to lose.

May the best team win ! Whether by 1 point of 100 points. It really doesn't matter as long as you get the W !

When you win. The trophy doesn't say.. #one team in the nation by only one point ! LOL

Kinda the point I was making. All the ESPN college talk show guys keep saying how unstoppable bama is, juggernaut, etc. And back around week 8 - 10 or something, when they pick who is in their "top 4"..... And they make the jokes like #1 alabama #2 alabama #3 Alabama and #4 Alabama. And that no one is even close, etc etc.....

Its just disrespectful to all the other teams. And I really dont see it that way. I think all 4 teams are pretty evenly matched. And bama would have their hands full with whoever they play. I will even go as far to say all the teams in the top 8 or 10 are pretty good, and any given sunday, have a good shot at beating anyone else in the top 10.

But as to the top 4......I have seen bama play some not-so-good games. Even though they won, games like Bama vs old miss.....didnt impress me much. But then I have seen them play lights out.

Same can be said for Clemson, OSU, and washington.

So when it comes down to the games.....its all gonna be "which" team decides to show up. Anyone show up and not have a good day, and their opponent is having a good day.....it aint gonna be pretty.

Yep.....you gotta play 4 qtrs. (and sometimes some OT) to see who wins the game......hope we see some good games.....hope the Huskies win!!!

Yeah, every team has good days and bad days. You aren't going to have a great game every game. When it counted, bama pulled it out.

I have no idea about these other teams, but in years pass, I have seen teams playing in a bowl game / play offs against Bama, and the other team really had no business in the play offs, because they were beaten badly.

I really hate it when teams make the play offs/ bowl games and one of the teams really was no match for who they played.
If I do take the time to sit and watch a play off / bowl game. I don't want to see a one sided game. I want to see a game.

So far,Bama deserves to be where they are. If they really aren't that good. they'll be beaten. If bama wins, Some will still say they don't deserve it because of the way the play off system is.

As I have said. I'm most likely no where as big of football fan as some of ya'll.
I'm really not a bama fan, but I have to give them credit ! Not easy for any team to go undefeated in regular season

Washington already looks like a JV squad planning varsity. Hopefully this doesn't last.

Also noticed the Bama players wouldn't shake hands at the coin flip. Classy.

I stopped with about 5 minutes to go. Washington did look like a JV squad playing varisty most of the game.

Man, to boot, for the first time in my life I was pulling for Michigan to win, and I even stayed up for the end of the game LOL

Yea, so much for the powerful Big 10 after Michigan losing to FSU And tOSU getting blown out. LAffin

Now it's up to PSU and Wisconsin to try and save face for the conference.

I think tOSU needs a new O Coordinator and QB coach. Barrett has been poor the last several games avg. at best all season. No creativity on offense... they didn't even look like they belonged in that game.... very disappointing.

JT takes forever to make his reads and then is out of time and has to make a off balance pass or a rushed pass. Their offense was so predictiable and Clemson just had a field day with them. The JT of 2014 did not show up yesterday and he needed to to beat Clemson.

Oh, well on with life in my real world... Bucks will be back next year.. fire the O coord. though.

When tOSU was in Norman they sure looked good.

In the end neither playoff game was competitive which is too bad.

PAC was exposed badly as neither of it's top 2 teams were even competitive. B1G was 0-2 but at least 1 was close. ACC won both of their top games and had VTech play well. Bama and LSU looked good but the SEC was pretty bad overall in bowl games so far. Big 12 has been mixed as well with the OU Auburn game yet to be played but OSU and KSU looked pretty good.

In the end ESPN got exactly what they wanted. The 2 conferences they own lock stock and batell as far as TV rights go are playing for a championship. The conferences that Fox owns outright or shares with ESPN are out.
