2018 Emax 20s HST loader and backhoe vs max26 xl loader and backoe

Thanks, that is the type of input I am looking for. The newer Max 26XLT is not in stock and they are clearing the units out because they are no longer going to be a Mahindra dealer. The newer Max would be thousands more. However they do have a Mahindra 1626 for $4000.00 less than the Max 26xl but it does not have a backhoe. A backhoe is a must for me and they don't have a backhoe to fit in stock and I really don't want to spend over $7000.00 for the backhoe.

If I knew that the backhoe off the Max 26xl would fit on the 1626. I would probably make them an offer if they swap it over.

Don't anyone know if the backhoe is interchangeable?

All the units are left over 2018

I see.
If you can see if you have a Woods or a wallenstein dealer in your area.
Both of them produce frame mounted backhouse for certain models.
You might be able to get one of those and the 1626 for only couple of $K more than the Max...Just saying.
And I can tell you the Woods backhoe seem to be more capable than the one that comes with the 1626.

FYI...

Don't let the dealer's inventory or clearance sale drive your tractor buying decision, that is really backwards. Make this an educated, long term decision based on your needs.

To be honest, buying the remnants from a dealer that is not going to sell the Mahindra line anymore is not something I'd recommend for a new buyer.

If you weren’t so far away I have a Mahindra 4035 shuttle for sale. It’s a lot more machine than what your looking at. Loader, backhoe and nice box blade. 2012 with almost 1200 hours asking $16,000 and everything works as should. Only selling cause health reasons. Whatever you get good luck

A Max 28XL shuttle is my small tractor. Very handy and since I modified the loader curl cylinders from a 1526 to fit the Max28, the loader is perfectly strong for the weight of the machine.
I placed the Max's loader bucket under the BH of the little MF and picked the rear of the MF right up. The Max will almost lift the rear of a new F150 crew cab of the ground. It will pick up a regular cab 1998 F150.

I'm literally in the same boat, looking at the same machines. i was looking at the emax22 which has similar specs to the max24, but i keep reading how the max is a better tractor.

still waiting for all these deals to come through since im looking used.
