En route from Grand Junction, CO to VA. Driver said Thursday afternoon or Friday morning morning. Really excited about it and looking forward to having a machine with cab, heat and AC. The angle blade and work brau coupler will be interesting also.

Should pair up nicely with my 4klb takeuchi and the vibratory plow/trencher. I'm waiting on permits to be approved so I'll spend some time with it making trails in the woods around my house and taking some bigger trees down.

Congrats, that’s a nice size machine. 6 tonner is the size I bought for my jobs , mainly pulling trees . Still easily trailerable and maneuverable 👍

Nice. I used a volvo ecr45(I think) for a few weeks as a loaner a year or two ago. I liked it. How do you like the work brau coupler and bucket? And what is the chain on the thumb for?

2’ WB bucket has been great , coupler is not WB , it’s Volvo pin grabber that came with it , after having a quick coupler I’d never go back to pulling greasy pins again 👍👍. The Volvo factory thumb rocks👍. Very well designed, I added the V link chain wrapped around lower crosspiece to easily get a grip on individual roots still in the ground. Squeezes against the two teeth it straddles, Works awesome. ( I made it from a brush grabber chain I had and never used) . Is yours coming with a bucket and thumb? I think you’re gonna love it , dam enjoyable to operate in cab comfort 👌

It has a WB quick coupler, WB 24" bucket and WB thumb. The listing said hydraulic coupler but it looks like a manual QC to me. It was a great deal so either way I'll be happy. If it's not hydraulic I'll upgrade to that at some point.

Really looking forward to the cab, an excavator puts off alot of heat in addition to the 90+ deg and 90+humidity we get here.

My other machine had a TAG wainroy quick coupler its fast with no grease to worry about but it gets old hopping on and off machine to swap buckets.

WB seems to make some good quality attachments. Even a well designed manual QC is worlds nicer than pushing greasy pins and aligning shims . I really don’t switch attachments too frequently although I do have a tiltable ditching bucket and shear for it. You find the Takeuchi on tractor house ad?

I thought I got royally screwed on this purchase. Machine barely had enough power to drive off of trailer and up the driveway. Also had a 18" TAG bucket instead of the 24" work brau it was supposed to have.

I pulled up codes on the screen and took a picture then went to Takeuchi dealer to get filters for it. They were awesome and let me talk to a mechanic. He looked up code and said "yep that's an egr pressure sensor code putting the engine in limp/derate mode, they'll barely move like that"

Got a sensor coming for a little over $100. The Cat dealer I bought from is shipping me the 24" bucket so now I'll have a 18"and 24" they also will reimburse me for what it takes to get engine right.

AC blows cold, two buckets instead of one and besides being dirty the rest looks good. I was pretty bummed after unloading it but I think it ended up being a good purchase.
