I 'm looking for opinions on a 2019 DK5510. It has 1100 hrs. on the clock, new fel, telescoping lower links and stabilizers and is gear drive with a mechanical shuttle. It has the remain factory warranty and appears to bear in good shape. Can get for $25,500, otd. What do you think.

Despite having a Kioti myself....how much factory warrant is left with 1100 hours on the clock?

Either way, that's A LOT of hours on a 2 year old machine.

The remaining full warranty expires 3/20/22, the emissions warranty expires 3/20/25 and the power train expires 3/20/26. The tractor was a rental that was used in the vineyards, the loader is being added now along with top and tilt. There have been two warranty claims one for a hydraulic seal and the other for broken fan blade that damaged the radiator which was replaced. From what I have read I understand the fan coming apart is not an isolated issue.

Kioti warranty is calendar days and not hour limited, as far as I know. So if it had the 6yr warranty, it would still have 3yrs remaining regardless of hours.

It only had a 3yr warranty?

Very well could be. I haven't had to use my warranty yet (knock on wood), so I wasn't sure.

However, after looking at their website it appears they have a 24 month or 1500 hour coverage limit.

To me, I'd price a new DK5510 with the options you want just to see how much more it would be to get a full warranty, not a 3.5 month warranty.

It would be approximately $6000.00 more.

Seems a little high to me based on the price for new.

That comparison was actually for a DK5010. I would expect a similar 5510 would be 1500 to 2000 more based on the difference between a 4510 and a 5010.

EDIT:Oh geez.. Looking back I see that OP stated it was originally a vineyard rental (must have been a stealth edit :)). Ya, that would make for the short 'rental/commercial' warranty then..

6yr, unlimited hour powertrain/drivetrain, 2yr bumper to bumper, 1yr attachment:

The only concern I would have would be with wear and tear on the clutch and shuttle shift synchronizers. This is not covered by warranty and the labour just to split the tractor open and put it back together is 15 hours labour, not counting repair parts and time. Do the math.

I don’t know where you get the 15 hours. It is an open station tractor. I know it not a simple task but that seems excessive. My concern would also be the clutch.

From my invoice. Yes, open station.
