Checking for anything bent or damaged ? Remember they are the ones who used the wrong bolts. Just saying!.

Was it Reagan who said "trust, but verify"? I say skip the trust part...I wouldn't trust those knuckle heads!

My take also. I'd just throw in the 40 mm bolts, torque 'em down and be done with it. (Providing they take the required torque without issue, of course.)

I agree. New tractor. Dealer and Manufacturer standing behind it. No reason for a bigger hernia. I do smell a different kind of mouse however -- I wonder if this tractor had either a loader or a backhoe or who knows what on it before it was sold to the new owner? If I were in her shoes I would have a very pointed face to face with the dealer and ask for the rest of the story. Did it really come from the mfr that way? Does the dealer say it did or what in fact does he say ? We do not need to know but if I were the buyer I'd insist on the rest of the story.

My tractor (GC 1715) was manufactured buy Iseki in Indonesia, and shipped to US on a pallet... My loader (Dl 95) was manufactured in US and somewhere along the line they were mated.... One can make any assumptions along the timeline they wish.... Just go with dealers/manufacturers fix and trust that it is correct....
