I just realized that I'm still on my original battery for my 2011 4010 TransMule. I've gone through 4 batteries on my riding mower that is just a year older, and is parked next to the Mule. I'm kind of amazed!!!
my 2010 mule 4010 has original battery also. still starts strong. i wish the generators i work on would have batteries that last this long.

you can also just carry a deep cycle style (boat) battery in the bed and run sprayer off of that using some type of connector that uses battery post clips and a cigarette outlet. that way you wont drain vehicle battery at all.

Thanks. I ended up buying a second battery of what came in the mule as a back up. Will probably plan to use that to run the sprayer.

I have my 2014 Massimo MSU-800, tore apart and see that the shifter and linkage all work perfect. So I am thinking that the issue is inside the gear box or transmission. Here was the scenario, I was driving on normal terrain (road) about 40 mph. All of the sudden, I heard a loud noise and I was no longer in gear. The shifter and indicator were still on "H" 2 wd. So I coasted to the nearest driveway and had to tow it with my trailer. Again, I tried to shift into all gears including reverse, and 4wd. The shifter and the indicator lights would change and the linkage would move properly but the side by side would not engage gears what so ever. What next?

Did you check to make sure the power from the motor is getting to the tranny, then tranny to wheels? Is it possible you broke a belt and everything is working but just not driving the wheels?

I'm not sure how it is setup but they also have a one way bearing or sparge clutch on the output shaft of the engine.
I have heard that sometimes they have issues and affect the front (engine) variable sheave.
