I got it out a little later and did some bank mowing with the sickle and then pushed up some rocks that had been bothering me in the yard with the front end loader. It went right up to 175 under load and stayed there. I sorta remember putting a 175 thermo in it. With the old radiator I could not keep the cap on tight or it lost water so it never would heat up properly. Seems to be running fine at temp now. Boy, it was about a 3 day project for me, but I didn't work on it full time. I probably had about 8 hours in it with all the fettling. Every time I turned around there was something else that needed messing with. But I persevered. Maybe life can get back to normal now after I pick up all the tools in the barn. Tomorrow I'll put the blade on it and grade the road.
