So after 20 years or so of pulling myself up with the steering wheel and the fender on my 2020, I decided it was time to get the proper step. So I get this thing which is listed in the parts book, same part numbers AA6 92R Tractor Step With Bracket JDS759STP For John Deere 244 263 264 284 Well, where in the world does it mount? Book shows the same parts and says it mounts with two 5/8x1 1/2" bolts, but where? A picture would be great. I can really see no place this can work unless it mounts to other sheet metal or the fender. I've googled pictures til the cows came home and still can't see it.

I guess you should have used Bing instead of Google. I did a search and the very first image shows a 2020 with the step mounted. I've attached it here for future users.

I would mount it as in the picture Sysop posted. Might need to drill one new mounting hole to line up.
I did notice that the 2020 was not listed in either ad but should be easy to modify.

Ad on Ebay(JDS759STP) lists some other utility tractor models so step should fit 2020 with no modification needed.

I agree. The landscape looks a lot like WV, but with the rover and couple euro styled vans in the background I'd guess it is UK or Europe someplace. I have personally found Bing to return better, bigger, and more accurate images for various searches.
Great, I think Sysop has it. Yes, the parts are the same for lots of tractors. I'll check it out today after I get the wife back from the orthoped Dr, she fell into an open storm drain at night in FL last week and broke her ankle big time, lucky she didn't break her neck. I see a big law suit coming.

Yeah, thanks, the ortho Dr said it was a very bad fracture, but the surgeon at the trauma center in FL did a good job putting Humpdy Dumpty back together. I'm looking for a villa in Italy, good luck on that one. Luckily the wife is in good physical health otherwise.
Anyhow, I think this bracket is not going to work because of the front end loader. I may be able to put the step off the loader bracket somehow, but I'll have to look into that when I get to the barn.
