You must be reading my mind James. I was thinking last. iChat about how handy forks would be. Most of you guys buy the forks from the dealer or is there a good aftermarket fork that will fit on the QA?

Do some searching on kijiji, you might find a set of forks there cheap. I got an old Horst manure fork with some other QA system on it, I ground it off and then got a SSQA plate welded on the back by my neighbor. All told it was still $350 plus a couple hours of driving and grinding, but a new Horst manure fork is $800-900+ which is overkill for my 2 dozen goat farm.

You are going to love the heck out of that little number.. The spec's are almost the same as my Kubota L3400hst. except you have a bunch more standard features. Things like extendable lower links and quick adjustable "check chains" You have about 200 less lift on the 3pt, and about 50 more on the loader. and your weight is greater by about 500 lbs. (good thing) they recommend 700 lbs of ballast on the 3pt. I concur for loader work. Anyway you will really love it I am sure.. Congratulations

Thanks guys. I haven't even used it. It just came around diner and all I did was back it into the shop.

Info have one question.
The 3ph on these, do they power up and gravity down or can you power down as well?

power up gravity/weight down. also dont forget the adjustment knob between your legs below the seat.. this adjust the drop speed depending on how much weight you have on the 3pt. If you close it too tight the valve will not allow any fluid to flow out of the cylinder ( inside the tractor) and the 3pt will not drop at all.

So how does the subsoiler go into the soil? Just the angle of the shoe pulls it down?
