Hey Chris ,Welcome to the forum, I have the ck20 s hst that I purchased from Lakeridge equipment in Uxbridge . They have been great to deal with and I love the tractor. The ck20 would be plenty of tractor for your application. You might have to make multiple passes with the plow to get to full depth but that would probably be more of a traction problem then a power/ size issue.
I have 11 1/2 acres in muskoka and use my ck for maintaining a1200' driveway ,blowing snow, bush hogging etc I have yet to find a job it won't do for me all while sipping fuel. I promise you won't regret your purchase if you do chose the ck20
Good luck Craig
P.s get the hst ,it is so much easier amd more conveniant then trying to use the loader with the gear trans,( just my 2 cents)

I think the HST is well worth it, especially on a small lot.

Using the FEL without HST is going to be a pain in the clutch leg, not to mention the time it will save.

Chris, have you been up to see Tom and Dick at Lakeridge Equipment yet? If the pumpkin competition matters, you need reliability so you're never sidelined. There's no question in my mind that you'd be better served by a new Kioti than a grey-market Yanmar. Go for a test drive. :)

You know if you get a geared tractor you will be happy with it, right up to the point you drive a HST equipped tractor. Then that is when all the "rear end" kicking starts, and all the regret from not getting the Hydro in the first place. Now you don't really want a black and blue "rear end" do you? For the type of work you want to do, there is no comparison, hydro is the way to go. I know all about the "rear end" kicking. been there, done that and have the bruises to prove it. I now have a Hydro equipped tractor and smile every time I use it.

Yes. Absolutely.
Dick is the first one I have seen. Great guy. There are 2 other dealers just as close that I will check out as well.

Ya HST is awesome. Since I was looking at the smallest model I was thinking that geared would give me a little more power. Someone mentioned in this thread that HST only robs the PTO power. If this is true, HST would be great as I have no plans for using the PTO.

Another vote for the CK20s HST. Great tractor. Little beast. I'm 6'5" 230 and found the seating and postion fine. Load the rear tires.
