20x20 Carport Installation on 2x2x6 Concrete Blocks

Has anyone ever installed a carport of any size on these 2'x2'x6' concrete blocks or of similar size? If so, how did you mount the carport to the blocks? At auction, I got 3 carports and want to go this route for the added height and stability.

Any pictures or videos would be appreciated!

If you can get the blocks straight and level, it should be easy to drill into them with a SDS Rotary hammer and install anchor bolts to hold it in place.

I helped anchor a 15x20 foot by 7 foot tall or so on pavers to increase the height. Used tap cons and it has withstood several winters and high winds but it is a bit protected between buildings fairly close by.

If you put it up on 2ft blocks, can you still open a car/truck door?

Many years ago i put 6x6x8 concrete blocks (open in the middle)on level ground and 4x4 treated on top. Drilled the wood and hammered 2' rods thru the wood to the ground. This "foundation" still good

World block makes the forms for those blocks.
They're about 3,500-3,800lb each.
Drill and set anchors as if you are bolting it to a slab.

Before setting the blocks in place prep the ground so they don't settle. They are heavy enough to tear up stuff if they settle.
I didn't mount a carport to them, but have 20 of them doing different tasks at my place.

My steel carports are anchored to the ground with 3’ earth anchors at each corner, then 3’ rebar nails along the base channel. If you’re in a windy area it takes a lot to keep these anchored.
