With family help they made good tear out progress. With probing and witchiness we found and marked the septic tank location 2' underground. That is a big load off of my mind. I didn't even know the US Army plumbing schools even taught water witching for water and electricity underground lines. It was a big time saver today.

It's been a hard 3 months working mainly on Saturdays to hull out the house on the inside. Last Saturday with a lot of family help and working 12 hours we moved the meter base service pole to rear of the house with all new hardware. We trenched 50 foot to reach the new 200 amp 40 slot breaker box got the wiring done in 3 rooms.

Monday morning I called the inspector and he was there at noon and signed off on the new service pole and breaker box work utilities power was reconnected this morning.

Over the past 3 months tossed a lot of stuff out of the shop building and cleaned up and the son is now sleeping in the shop office.

That is really awesome. Is the property the whole triangle on that corner there? Or just right around the structures?

This shot is being helpful. When we dug down to put a clean out to leach field we found a 90 degree elbow and a 4 inch PVC solid pipe pointing to the front yard. This shot may indicate leach field starts just passed the front of the house and makes a sweeping turn towards the back of the property.

The wedding is in three days and we're going to keep working on it so floors are ready move in stuff. New wiring and plumbing are done for the most part and it is painted out. Soon we can look at the exterior and yard drainage.

This was the best Christmas in a long time. The son and his wife had us over for dinner at their new home now that they are a new family that never existed before.

While the house is new and comfortable on the inside they have a lot of work left on the outside, property and shop building but now they are in the dry with heat and cooling plus new jobs.

That's great news. It's a very big accomplishment for you and them. There is so much value in sweat equity; they will make their home priceless.
