I thought it was the power steering pump leaking, and running down to the front hub shown in pic, which is low spot. After brake clean, I think it is coming from the bottom whatever this is with grease fitting on it. Does that seem possible? I have found pics on parts manuals, but I can't find the name of it.

It is leaking steady fluid, you can see a trail. The power steering was low, and so was main hydraulics. I topped both off. Is this different issue? Wouldn't the fluid in the axle be something else?

What is this called? What do you think is leaking? And suggestions on fixing? Do I just remove the two bolts above? Thanks. It is located at my camp, 300 miles away. But I do get there a bit.

1995 ford/NH 2120 4 wd.

That part is just a pivot point. The part behind that is a solid piece of metal, that is part of the front axle assembly.

If I remember, there are power steering lines attached to the frame above the pivot point.

Could it be leaking from the front harmonic balancer seal? I would recommend trying to really clean up the front of the engine to get a better look.

My orginal thought is it was cominf from some place else, this is just a low spot. I brake cleaned the pump, and didn't anything. But will look better. It is leaving a steady trail, i took for test drive.

Hard to tell, but may be just grease that has liquefied and oozed from pivot, if it isn’t coming from above.

it is power steering house the got to the arm. Not sure the terminology. From arm that goes to wheel to frame on left side. Not easy to get access to. I got it off but it was not easy, very tight.

Should I just go to an auto parts store with the old one and have them make me a house? Thanks.

If they can make up the hose, sure, but the finished product should be the same size since the fit is tight.

The power steering line has a connector on it that is not very common. I had one made for my 1920 recently. They didn’t have the correct one but were able to make it work.

Should I try to find a place to order from? With winter coming it is going to be an issue very soon. We get 200-300" of snow. Of course I put this off. But it was sure nice working on it in pleasant weather and bugs about gone.

I need 26 in the diagram for a 1995. Not sure I am reading right, 3 options. I think mine is not available.

Depends on year. Disregard NH-E for Europe, but the #26 I listed is the only one available. You might measure yours to see if #26 is long enough.

Mine is 14". Maybe I will try to run to autostore today to see what they say and cost. If not order 14" hose from Mesecks.

I haven't managed to get over to an auto store to ask. I just ordered it from messicks. Not cheap. No new holland dealer super close. One I went to closed. Not that there are not ones in driving distance.

The tractor is for my camp, so I need to work on it when I can. I will be staying there for work, so I need to take advantage of that. Wish I would have ordered right away, will be cutting close..

Also surely don't want to be doing this with numb hands in the winter.

If I remember correctly the hose comes in at an odd angle to the power steering cylinder. The end has a slight angle to it. They didn’t have that end to make it 1 piece. They said they might use about 1 a year and this is a cylinder and hose business. They were able to put 2 ends on to make the proper angle. There was plenty of room for it. Just be careful when you put the new hose on. I had my cylinder rebuilt, put it back on then a few days later it was leaking fluid. The hose was rubbing on the harmonic balancer on the engine. That’s why I had to have a new hose made. I put the new one on and zip tied it away from the harmonic balancer.

two tractor dealers could not help. One sent me to industrial place. $36 while I waited at counter. $140 from messicks, and need to return.

British thread.

Two dealers said this is a metric thread can't do it. Which surprised, I figured was all metric. Kubota and New Holland.

I just realized the old one, had sort of union, you put two wrenches on to tighten and loosen. This one where you would put the wrench to hold it is just the crimp. Hope there is enough room to get channel locks in place.

I would have preferred a regular wrench cause you can prop it against something to hold it in place. He also did not give me the old one.

$36, and I am going up this week, so I guess I'll find out.
