2185 replacement headlight assy not same!

Really IRKED! Heat shield gone on exhaust: result = melted headlight reflector!
Original parts are separate lens and reflector units. Replacement assy includes both in a kit: p/n 759-3947. This kit replaces the stock halogen bulbs with plain 'ole 12 Volt bulbs! Any suggestions to fashion original sockets?
Or availability of original reflector p/n: 731-3150 ? (grrrr)

Call Patton Acres or some of the other guys that part out tractors and find a good used one. The head lights on the 2000 series are crap. I have a 2185 that I picked up with no headlight or muffler. Was going to part it but otherwise it was a good little tractor so I picked up a high mount muffler and it now exhausts where the head light used to be. Looks kind cool and it sounds nice. Oh and the muffler was $65 VS $200 + for the Cub muffler.
