2210 Battery

After reading all that was going on with corrosion on the factory batteries I decided not to take the chance. If anyone is interested a Optima 51 will fit in a 2210. Just have to keep the hold down loose until you get the front end back on because the Optima is a little wider.

Did you get the 51 or the 51R?

I used the 51. My Battery had the positive terminal on the back right side. The 51R would have put it on the front right. The cable probably would have reached but I decided to use the 51 and just spin it around.

Just some additional info, you can't tighten the battery all the way down until you get the front end back on. I had to lift the battery a little to get the bottom notches on the front end into the slots. Then I tightened the battery down. I think the Optima is a little wider than the origional one.
