2210 Poll

No. My 2210 does everything and more. I have already moved a pile of dirt that has been sitting for 10 years. It had plenty of power to spare. My mowing time has dropped from 3 hours to a little over an hour.

From my standpoint, anything larger (frame wise) would have been more of a hinderance than help.

I am quite satisfied with my 2210 even though I looked at the 4000Ten series and considered both the 4110 and 4115. Sure it would have been nice to have bought either the 4110 or 4115 but there is the reality of the higher cost that has to be taken into account by some people such as myself.

The only thing I feel I am missing with my 2210 is being able to set a drop stop point for the three point hitch but I have been toying with an idea I have in mind for an electronic indicator that will at least tell me when to release the drop lever and to be back at the height I had previously set.

I've had my 2210 for 2 months and am happy. A 4X10 was too big and too much $$$ for my needs. Only wish I could have gotten HDAP or R4 tires instead of turfs. A folding ROPS would be nice too but I'm working on a solution for that.

GONO2,
I have had my 2210 for about a month now. During the Easter weekend I move more than 14 10ft to 12ft birch trees, planted 10 5ft pine trees 50 2ft white pine and moved 7yards of topsoil all with the front end loader. With as large as the root ball was on some of the trees, the loader never disappointed me at all. I also mowed the tall weeds in wild part of my property and no disappointment in that area either. I am extremely happy with the 2210. I had spent about a year looking at all the models the big 3 mfg offer in the 20hp-25hp range. The 2210 was the only one I found that gave me more tractor for the dollar, than any of the other models I had looked at. You need to ask yourself how much tractor will you really need. If your a homeowner mowing and landscaping with snow removal then the 2210 will exceed you requirement. Good luck in your search!!!

Mhalla

In the spec sheet for the 2210 on-line it says that “Draft Control Type” is “Position.”
Is “Draft Control “ for ground engaging (plow) implements? I thought that the 2210
had position control. I did get what John Deere calls a brochure for it but there's much
of anything in the way of specs.
