<font color="green">Anyone experiencing their 2210 running hot?
This weekend was the first time my 2210 was used for mowing. Several times my son had to stop the tractor while mowing and let it cool down. The idiot light for high temperature was illuminating.
It was probably in the 70's for the outside temperature and he was mowing for more than two hours but less than three. I had previously used the tractor when it was a lot colder and not for mowing. I have the 62 inch deck and no more than 12 hours on the tractor right now.
I reviewed the troubleshooting part of the manual but haven't been able to take the time to check out everything it suggests.
Until then I was wondering if anyone else's 2210 was running hot. Will a diesel tractor run hotter when brand new?
I have mostly owned air-cooled gasolene powered tractors so diesel is new to me. With my old 18HP Sears lawn and garden tractor I could mow all afternoon when it was in the nineties and not be concerned about overheating although maybe I should have.
Thanks,
