When I first got the 2210 I didn't think that the seat was as bad as some here were saying but as I spent more hours on it my back was hurting. Watching with interest the X series seat conversion, I tried doing it my way. Attached is a picture of what I came up with. Getting the front of the seat into a suspension mode instead of fixed helped with the ride. The problem with this was that there was some rocking side to side. You can also see the nylon ties holding the air shock in place until testing was complete. I'm sure that if I had spent more time I could have devised better platform. But as with most things I lost interest and decided to purchase the X series seat and suspension. So here is my updated seat. It feels pretty good but I still can't mow flat out with out getting hurt /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
