Well I got my engine back together Wednesday evening and ran it some yesterday blading my road and my coolant now moves back and forth like it should from the radiator to the overflow bottle.

I am taking it home to plow my garden this weekend and I fully expect it to finally work like it should.

Great news!! Best of luck with it.....may it run flawlessly for a loooooooong time:thumbsup:

It ran fine as is but now is the time to make it right while its torn down I don't ever plan on doing it again fact I shouldn't be working on it now but that's another story....

I know what you mean. Shouldn't of been out myself today. Had a bad case of cabin Fever Already. Thats my excuse and told the wifey the same. Sounds like you have it squared away only time will tell now. Your probly as bad as me trying to find a drip

Thank you I think I can go back to believing it will now! How is yours working did you get it sorted out?

I plowed the heck out of my garden with it Saturday for a few hours and mixed in a big round bale of straw it was 34 degrees when I started and a little wind chill to boot not perfect conditions at all for gardening. I am running behind this year with completing my waterwell/storm shelter project and all last month.

My coolant stayed put in the bottle so that's fixed and the engine runs smoother and stronger than it ever did also with my fresh new valve job and a straight and level head.

Carey,

Yeah we are probably on the same page leaks and squeaks are one of my peeves my employees (when I had them) learned how to avoid creating them plus how to repair them correctly when they came in that way it makes for happy customers and a profitable repeat clientele business usually! That and this tractor was supposedly just gone thru when I bought it that's the other story when you buy something rebuilt you pray its done right and sometimes its just what you figured...
