Yes of coarse. My buddy repaired diesels for over 30 years and thinks it is either: A/ A failing fuel shut off solenoid or, B/ a failing fuel pump

Found the problem! There was a fuel line coming from the firewall to the top of the fuel filter assembly. I had previously removed a hose coming from the top of the fuel tank that terminated on the fuel filter assembly and blew low pressure air through it, I heard bubbling in the tan and thought all was well. Wrong. So now I see this 3rd line going to fuel filter housing, again from firewall.
I took it off fuel filter assembly, and sticking out of the hose nipple was a black rubber piece of rubber O ring from a 5 gallon fuel can! It was about 1/8" in diameter and must have clogged at least half of the interior of the fuel line.
It was about 1" long and curved, how that found its way to the top of the fuel filter housing is amazing to me. RUNS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!
