2305 Help re fuel problem

2305 runs grat even under load for about ten minutes, then aabruptly shuts doown. Restarts, aafter five or six ignition trials, then runs perfectly for another ten minutes. Beewnz all thru the fuel system several times, have drained the tank, put in fresh filters, bled the system repeatedly, the engine behaves the same after everything. what does everybody else know Aabout this but me?

Check that your fuel cap vent isn't plugged. Try running it with the fuel cap loose to see if it makes a difference. Also, when it shuts down, open the fuel cap and listen if you are getting a rush of air.

Fuel cap replaced and stlll not runningmore than 20 minutes! Any other ideas$.

Since you say the engine shuts down abruptly, I would start looking at the safety switches starting with the seat switch. I've never done that diagnosis so can't help. I'm sure others have and hopefully will be along to to help you out.

I also have a JD 2305 that does the same thing. Have done all the things you said you have done plus took the seat switch out. Still looking for problem.
