Hello to all. This is my first post and I am thankful to all who have posted before. I used the forum a lot before buying a 2305 last fall. After about 6 months and almost 25 hours of use I sure am glad that I did buy the 2305. I seriously considered Kubota, Kioti, Mahindra and New Holland as well as JD 4110 and 790. I have about 9 acres--3 wooded and 5 clear and 1 in lawn around the house. I was looking for value in a small tractor which would be used about 50% for rough mowing and the other 50% for various landscaping projects. All the other brands have been mentioned at one time or another as being more tractor for the money, but there was never more than about $1000 differences between the cheapest (Kubota) and the 2305. From the first time I got on the 2305 I was impressed by its power. I frankly think that it has more HP than can truly be used from a tractor its size. My first project was to bush hog my 5 acres of VERY tall grass--it had been growing since spring and got its first cut in October! The 2305 W/ LX4 could handle 7 foot tall grass with ease. It could also cut down small trees, wild raspberries and the numerous weeds like they were not even there! I have used the CX 200 to push around a pile of topsoil left after our house construction, dig garden beds (yes, I actually was able to excavate the top 2' of hard packed clay) and generally aid in the landscaping and renovation of our new yard. I have yet to find a task which the 2305 can't handle with ease. While I certainly understand the y-chromosome need for bigger tractors, I can hardly imagine what I would do with one that I can not presently do with what I have.
