2305 MMM Independent Lift

I just had my mmm installed with independent lift. I'm finding that if I put the mower completely up, it slowly sinks. If I set the mmm depth to the lock position, it stops only after about a two inch drop, but otherwise slowly drops to the set cut level. It will completely drop in less than a minute. Before I call my dealer, is that normal for the deck to slowly drop or is there a valve bleeding off fluid. This drop occurs both with the engine on and off. Thanks.

My 2305 with MMM Independent lift does the same does the same...

All direction valve have leakby, and for large cylinders it has little effect. But small cylinders like the ones on mmm lift systems it has great effect. The fix for this is pilot operated check valve, I can leave mine up for weeks at a time no drop, before I installed the pilot operated check it only took 2 minutes to drop to the stop.

I spoke with my dealer today, but got little info. He said that he'll check with whoever dealers check with, and get back to me. I'll let the board know what words of wisdom he comes back with.

Regarding that pilot check valve, can I install it at home? And where would I pick one up? Thanks.

Any hydraulic valves supplier should have it or can get one. Mine came from sauer danfoss. I do not remember the part number so just ask for a pilot operated check valve for a flow rate of your tractor.
Yes you can install at home it's not hard.
