I spoke with the sales manager, Dave, today (Tuesday). He said that he'd have a mechanic here on Thursday. The mechanic will attempt a repair here, or if need be, transport it back to their shop for repairs. I thought I'd push it a little and asked if I could have a loaner until my 2305 is returned. He said that he'd have to check with my salesman and get back to me. In other words... "NO". I think I'll let this play out and see if I have any results come Thursday. Either way, you've all convinced me to notify the owner of these circumstances and let him/her know how I was treated. I'll keep the board posted.

Had a problem with a dealer when I bought my 47" snow blower for my 2210, some of the parts were missing from the shipping crate. I called the dealer 9 times or more to get the parts replaced which total over $375.00 and he kept blowing me off. Finally ended up calling JD customer service and they called the dealer and we had a little 3 way conference call, problem solved in 1 minute. The phone number is on the JD website.
