2305 TPH dropping on its own

My TPH recently started dropping on its own with the lever in the up position and no implement attached. It seems to go down several inches when parked an unused and will even drop noticeably when I mow for an hour or so at a time. I am certain that it didn't do this until recently. Other than the 50 hour service, nothing I can think of has changed. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately, that is the way it was designed. There is nothing wrong with it.

Yes, mine does the same thing. It didn't when I first got it, but started at around 150hrs. I just turn the knob and lock it up whenever I don't need it.

Close the drop rate control knob. It will probably be very hard to turn if the tractor was running. So let it sit for a while or close it before you start it next time. Of course, you will have to do the same if you want to open it...
