2305

IMHO: The biggest problem, with the 2305 is the ROPS. I cannot get nearly close enough to trees even with the 62" MMM. If I had it to do over again, I would not buy anything without a folding ROPS. It takes 7' to clear the ROPS on a 2305. That's trimmimg the trees pretty high. I've done that with all the trees I can, but still hit all the pines. I now spend about 1-2 hours trimming with a string trimmer because I cannot get close to any obstacles due to the ROPS.
I know folding ROPS are available, but there is no option from John Deere to upgrade. Purchasing a folding ROPS requires paying the "full price" for it after already paying for the one that came on the 2305. I'm more likely to just remove it, and then reinstall it when I sell it.
Before you buy, also check clearances where you'll store your unit. My ROPS also hits the loft in my barn and my sidewalls in my quonset hut.

You can put a folding rops on it. Femco sells one. When I bought my 2305 I had the dealer throw one in. It's made for the 2210 but the mount is the same.

I actually used to have that issue but I just trimmed all my trees so now I don't even use the folding feature (And have since put a canopy on).
