I see. Well, that is somewhat ironic isn't it, seeing how they made them in the first place?
(stands on soapbox)
These compact tractors form a quirky little industry. Lots and lots of brand names, made by lots and lots of different people using lots and lots of different model numbers to describe the same thing. The real problem is that no one wants to help you out unless you have their specific brand and model. I kind of understand that as they want you to buy it from them, but refusing to sell you a part isn't going to make you sell your current tractor and buy theirs, is it? All it does is take away a part sale from them. Seems counterproductive to me.
(steps down from soapbox)
I will ask for Yanmar 276D parts if at a local dealer and try to order as many as I can for my 2310D online. I know I can get nearly everything online, but just wanted local options if I get in a pinch.
I am still learning about how this grey market works, so I appreciate all of the advice and information. If anyone still has anything to add, I would be grateful. An "american" engine and/or tranny model number might be helpful at a local dealer, so if anyone knows that, that would be great. Thanks again.
