Just did my 50 hour service on my 2520 at 52 hours. I used 4 qts of the 15w-40 JD oil and 4 gallons of Low Vis Hyguard. My hydro screen wasn't as bad as the one pictured in the previous post, but it definitely had significant metal shavings adhered to it.
The engine oil change was easy, no problems...just use 4 qts. Some manuals state 3 qts, which is incorrect.
The hydro change wasn't too bad. I couldn't get a 5 gallon bucket under the machine, so I used a 2 gallon oil catcher that I use to change oil in my car and just stopped the flow of oil midway through to dump it. The bolts on the screen cover on the back of the unit need a fairly long extension to get to as well.
