Same with the ballast box......it was included in the FEL purchase unless I bought a backhoe. I'd love a backhoe.....just not willing to part with $7k (yet). I would have bought the ballast box anyway so that was no big deal either.
This was my first tractor purchase and although I did plenty of my own research I put some trust in my dealer/salesman as well due to my lack of practical experience. I was quite pleased with their patience for my stupid questions and order changing. I was never "sold" anything.....options were presented and pros/cons laid out. That's the way I prefer my customer/salesperson relationships to be. That's why I said that even if my dealer was wrong in the tire "requirement" I was OK with it. After seeing the load ratings it seems as though there is justification for their policy.
