I have had a 2320 for just over a year in the same setup as you are looking at. The deck in the fully raised position has about 4.75 inches of clearance. I have cut grass about at a foot to a foot and a half tall before, and it will do it if you travel slower, but the deck needs to be is in the raised position to travel any speed. Not sure how long the grass grows in your area in 2-3 weeks. If you want to cut it the same height as the rest of the lawn, you may want to look at the 2520 or 2720 with a bit more power. As far as cutting the lawn, the mower tip speed is nearly as high as a ZTR, so it will give good results even at high rates of travel. I mow in second range most of the time, and travel as fast as I can stand over my bumpy yard. On the 2320, (2520 and 2720 don't have this) there is a mower height adjustment knob on the floorboard like the smaller Deere lawn tractors that allows you to easily adjust cut height and lock the mower in the raised position to free up the 3pt. The PTO has a selector lever that allows selection of front, rear, or both outputs simultaneous.
