Hi all,

JohnDeere2210 has just purchased a 2320. He isn't able to get to the Internet to post right now, but here are 4 pics from him, and one from our local dealer (his 3rd and already sold).

Thanks JDFANTATIC for getting the pictures up.

As JDFANTATIC mentioned, I just got this machine and traded in my 2210. For this machine, I do have the 62D drive over deck and front quickhitch/blade. I have been a 2210 owner for a long time (purchased one of the very first and traded my second one), and even to this day can't believe some of stuff I have done with that unit and like I have always said "it has attitude".

Alternatively, I have been wanting to refine a few points on that machine and I felt the 2320 offered some of those features and still keeps me in a smaller tractor size I wanted.

IMO, the refinements to this machine made the switch from my 2210 to the 2320 an easy choice, namely the following:

a) Position control of the 3-point
b) Folding ROPS
c) Much larger tires/wheels (Greater ground clearance plus the transmission filter has been located much higher than expected and under the left foot pan).
d) Mid mount mower height adjustment (the height you can actually lift the mid mount mower is 1/2 again higher than the 2305)
e) A backhoe
f) Cat 1 hitch with great lifting strength

2210, i have 2 questions-roughly what does a setup like that cost? and, when will you be changing your obselete screen name? congrats on a sweet setup. i sometimes think i should have gotten a SCUT instead of the 3520 i got. i am always a victim of price creep. best of luck.

Jtm, My situation is different than most people and I'm not sure what someone my pay.

Glass,

I will measure the lowest point and see what clearance I really have on the unit.

Congratulations John Deere 2210. I also have purchased one (mine unit is on order). I will not be able to play with it until mid August though as it is in Florida and I'm currently in Maryland getting ready to move. I agree with your assesment on this machine. Still very compact but has some great features like the position control. I have ordered the LX 4 rotary cutter with mine and it will be used mostly for small pasture mowing and loader work. Down the road will maybe consider getting the 62d deck, but have a nice Simplicity mower now that does the mowing. I was really leaning towards another make of tractor until I saw the 2320 and once I saw it, I knew this was the right machine for me. I think Deere really has a winner on their hands with this one. Hope they can keep up with production. Again, congratulations.

Guess you might be in for a name change :) .

I will get those measurements today, but the name has changed and now johndeere_2320, formally johndeere_2210. I should have done something simple like JDFANATIC did, where the alias can remain the same:D

glasslaker,

It looks like the limitation on the rearend (portion dead center) is 10.5" and the front pumpkin is 11" off the ground, so great clearance. I don't remeber taking these measurements on the 2210, but I know the front and rear end are much closer to the ground.
