Okay, I've searched through the post and I'm still confused...

I'm looking at adding a grapple to my loader, and I want to have dedicated control over it. Now my understanding is that the PB is looped, and feeds the 3pt. So is it true that PB kit has 3 ports, (P)Supply, Feed to 3pt, and (T) return to tank. I want to leave the actuator/valve installed all the time, and I want the 3pt to work all the time too.

So.. If I used a open loop valve spool (In neutral), that should leave pressure to the 3pt correct??? I'm thinking though it would be better to just make a tee setup, and tee into the PB loop (P), that way the valve has a direct relief path to the tank. There would also be no restriction on the loop going to the 3pt.

So clarification would be appreciated!!

Thanks,
P.

The PB only has two hoses, one pressure and one return. The larger frame tractors have the two different returns (one to the 3PH and one direct to the tank)

If you want to add a rear remote using the PB, take a look HERE to see how I did it using the PB kit.

Have you give thought to just adding an electric diverter to your FEL? I think it will be better to operate your grapple. HERE is a link to my install, but if you do a search for "diverter" there are LOTS of post's about them!

Clear as mud?
Ask away!:D

Okay, so does the return on the PB kit feed the 3pt on a 2320, or is a return to the tank??? I cant find any info on it on JD site, other than a drawing of the PB kit.

I really want to have a dedicated system, I don't like the idea of losing a function for another function even if it is for a second.. I also want the option of using it for something else, like a tilt cyclinder, wood spliter, blender to make drinks...:D

I check your setup out, very nice job..

Thanks,
P.

On my 4110, which should be the same setup as your 2320, the fliud comes from a block that the DSCV (loader valve) is mounted on, the fliud also returns to this block, then to the 3PH. This is internal to the transmission. Your setup would look just like mine, two hoses from the block under the DSCV to your new one or two spool valve.

Your 3PH will always remain active.

Not to argue or justify a diverter setup, but by using a rear remote to operate your grapple, your loosing TWO functions, because you have to remove your hand from the joystick and move to the other lever-unless you have three hands:D
