Good info! The 2320 will have the Yanmar 3TNV76 engine, and tire sizes will be 31x13.50-15(R-3) or 12-16.5(R-4)rear and the fronts will be 23x8.50-12

The 2520 will be powered by a 3TNV82A,with 36x14-15 (R-3)with 24x8.50-14 fronts or in R-4 you will get 14x17.5 rears matched with23x8.50-12's

Good job on finding this info guys! This is one of the things I've been waiting for, a blend between the 2305 and a slightly larger frame. I'm guessing the pump rate will be a little higher and the axle loads will be higher. Nice pic! Keep the info coming. Oh, the other thing I've been waiting for... approval from the wife, which I finally got. Now we'll just have to sit tight waiting for availability.
Thanks,
Brian

Brian,

Great! You'll be our first 2320 owner then! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

JDFANATIC,
Not sure if I'll be the first owner of one, but I'll certainly let all you guys know when I get it. It's quite a chunk of change, so hopefully the availability coincides with great Spring finance rates. Boy, it's gonna be a long cold Winter pushing snow down a 350 foot driveway with the JD316.

So if the 2320 shares the same engine as the 2305, and it has the same engine and PTO HP(24 & 18), does this mean it's rated @ 3000 rpm like the 2305 ? If it's rated @ 2600 rpm(or 2650 like the 4110 was), seems like the HP numbers would be lower than for the 2305.

So by looking at the graph, for the 2320 to have 24 HP it will be rated @ 3000 rpm ?? 18 kw = 24 hp

Looks like they have addressed some of the things I didn’t care for on the 4110....mainly the tire size, engine isolation and power. Wanting a small tractor with deck “stick out” and best possible ride over bumps, it made little sense the 4110 had wide but short tires defeating the purpose of a narrow tractor IMO. Too bad they didn’t go for the narrower but taller 33” rears. Will be curious if the engine feels as smooth through the frame as the 2210 did. When I tried a 4110 (supposedly the same engine as 2210) it felt much rougher through the seat of the pants compared to the 2210’s very smooth feel.

Anyone have:
Weight
Wheelbase
Tread width to outside of rears
Turning radius
Deck sizes (72”?)

I am just curious where the info and the pic (listed at the beginning of this Post) came from. If it's Top-Secret, I understand; and I'm glad you posted it. I was wondering if there's an internet address out there with this info., or is this classified stuff someone's leaked from JD? Seems like if we have this much info., we could find out exact dimensions such as lenght, width, height and weight.... ????PLEASE....somebody.....

Hey all,
I got a little more info on the 2320 today from the local dealer. He had a brochure, but couldn't let me keep it, so he made a copy of the spec page. It contains info on both the 2320 and the 2520. Here's a few numbers:
Hydraulics
Steering 2.2gpm (2320) 5.5gpm (2520)
Implement 3.4gpm (2320) 5.0gpm (2520)
Total 5.6gpm (2320) 10.5gpm(2520)
BTW, the 2305 is 5.2gpm total
Lift capacity(24in behind link arms) 1,150lbs (2320 & 2520 are the same)
Weight 1,660lbs (2320) 1,865lbs (2520)
The copied page also has a few measurements. The hood height shows 53.3" (2320) and 47.2" (2520) but I think those numbers should be reversed. Folded ROPS height is 67.9" (2320) and 68.9" (2520). Sorry, the length wasn't copied.
The dealer couldn't give a price yet.

Later,
Brian

OBG: When I tried a 4110 (supposedly the same engine as 2210) it felt much rougher through the seat of the pants compared to the 2210’s very smooth feel.

I have owned both and have the complete opposite experience. My 4110 runs smoother, with a deeper exhaust and at a lower RPM. The 4110 does have a better isolation system than the 2210, including vibration damping all the way through the floorboards.

 / 2320 Update #14
Hmmmm, johndeere_2210’s post says “larger tires”, jimdiesel’s post says “tire sizes will be 31x13.50-15(R-3)”. Just re-read the JD brochure and see that is the same tire size the 4110 had that I didn’t care for due to stealing a bit of deck stick out. Wonder which is correct, larger or same?

Bigpete:
A bit hard to explain but I’ll try crudely perhaps. When I fired up a new 4110 and ran it through the rpm ranges, I felt and heard roughness through the entire machine and a sound very similar to when a car diesels (the unhappy kind). I will add it was only a couple feet away from the side of a building and under roof so the natural diesel noise was exaggerated, but I tried to place that out of my mind and concentrate on feel. Now the 4110 was not worse than most tractors IMO, just when I jumped on the 2210 it to me was so much more isolated and sounded so much smoother, it was night and day to me, it was hard to imagine them being the same basic engine. Just my short experience with them.

 / 2320 Update #15
That's a purely anectdotal comparison. I put 135 hours on my 2210 and traded up. Now up to 198 hours on my 4110. The 4110 is a FAR smoother running, more feature-rich, and more "deluxe" tractor in almost all regards. The 2210 is an awesome machine in its own right, but it is the economy model in the lineup with a less isolated engine for vibration and sound.

 / 2320 Update #16
Anecdotal in your eyes perhaps, but based on a lifetime of experience in the industry with various machines, as well as having built, maintained, and worked on, tractors dump trucks and race cars of varying types for decades and is stated as my opinion as is yours.

 / 2320 Update #17
As compared to 300+ hours of experience owning both models, your brief encounter starting a single machine is anectdotal. The paraphrased definition of anectdotal is the extension of a conclusion or opinion based on a fleeting experience or a very small amount of data that does not represent the universe of possibilities. Seems to me you started one machine and drew a conclusion.

Buy what you want and enjoy. Don't mislead others along the way, though /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I sing praises of both machines!

I hope the new machines are smoother than both!

 / 2320 Update #18
I take exception to your statement I am misleading anyone. If experience with your ONE of each machine appears the opposite of mine, it does not mean my results are any less valid than yours. You are attempting to say I did not experience what I DID. Years of experience with many types of machines gives one a “feel” that does not take 300 hours to figure out, especially when it is so obvious as my experience with them was. The 2210 and 4110 are so similar your statements that the 4110 are so far above the 2110 would lead me to believe you have a need to justify to yourself or are trying to sell one. Whatever bud, knock yourself out, but you’re not going to change my mind what I IN FACT DID FEEL.

End of discussion with you.

 / 2320 Update #19
Back to the new Brochure specs.....The 2320 has the same 1,150 lb. lift capacity, but why is the hydraulic flow less than the 4110 it replaces?
model /steering gpm/ Implement gpm/ total gpm
4110= 2.3 -------------5.1 -----------------7.4
2320= 2.2 -------------3.4 -----------------5.6

The 2320's hydraulics are equal to the 4010, and comparable to the 2210/2305 subCUTs.
I don't guess this really matters, just curious as to why "new and improved model" has less flow?

 / 2320 Update #20
Hey 73jeep, thanks for bringing us back on track. I too was a little surprised at the low pump numbers, but then again, I'm not a hydraulic guy. Maybe someone can help with this discussion. I suspect gpm (gallon per minute) relates to speed and not necessarily to strength. Maybe somehow the 2320 has consideribly more "strength?" (psi)? than the 2305,etc. Ok, someone please educate me.
